When will Nate Diaz fight again in the UFC? This has been the most recurring question UFC President Dana White has been facing lately. While Nate Diaz keeps on being vocal about either getting a fight or leaving the UFC, Dana White asks in public when has Diaz not said anything crazy as far as the superstar’s words were concerned. Recently, Nate Diaz took to Twitter and shared his frustration with his fans. Not surprisingly, this caught Jake Paul’s attention, and he readily hurled his jibes at the UFC President, Dana.

However, on being asked if they were holding Nate Diaz a hostage, here is what White told earlier regarding the Nate Diaz situation in the UFC:

“No, I mean when isn’t Nate Diaz saying something crazy? I’ve said this a million times and I’ll say it again: we can’t hold guys hostage, it’s not possible, okay? I owe you three fights a year. If I don’t fight you three times a year, I have to pay you. How can I hold him hostage?”

On a follow-up on Diaz, here is what White added.

Dana White will offer Nate Diaz three fights a year, but when?

Since White mentioned that bound by the contract he would offer Nate Diaz three fights a year, a reporter asked White precisely when. In response, White said he did not know and that all would have to wait. Here is what White told the media:

“I don’t know. We’ll see what happens and then. I have to get him three fights a year. I offer fights; he either accepts them or turns them down and obviously, I’m not paying them.”

At this, just when the same reporter asked White if Diaz was turning down the offered fights, infuriated, White responded by saying:

“This is the bull*** game I’m not gonna play, okay? I’m m not gonna play this f** game.”

Following White’s interview at the post-fight conference, Diaz and Paul both took to Twitter and tried exposing the hypocrisy of White and his comments.

Jake Paul backs Diaz up and berates White

While Diaz stated he had been offered zero fights even though he asked for five legitimate opponents in the last nine months, Paul backed Diaz up, accusing White of saving Diaz to revive McGregor one more time for UFC’s own sake.
