Conor McGregor, in a video he uploaded to Instagram recently, hints about taking on Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. McGregor teased fans of a possible return to the boxing ring after calling out the Mexican while training.

McGregor is known for doing everything in style. True to his nature, the Irishman bobs and weaves while sporting a $90,000 (£73,000) platinum Rolex Day-Date. Working out to the soothing sounds of Hozier’s ‘Take Me to Church’, McGregor keeps himself fight ready.

But the call out to Canelo is what caught the attention of the fans, who are starved for some action in the Octagon during these troubling times.

This will not be the first time McGregor is stepping into the boxing ring. He went toe to toe with the future Hall of Famer, Floyd “Money” Mayweather. It took place in 2017 and was one of the most lucrative sporting events ever to take place.

Ahead of his fight against Donald Cerrone at UFC 246, the Notorious One talked about potentially taking on the WBA welterweight titleholder, Manny Pacquiao. McGregor has often talked about his desire to hold a boxing title. Something that he unsurprisingly claims wouldn’t be too hard for him to get.
