Later at WrestleMania, teaming up with Nikolai Volkoff, Iron Sheik conquered the WWF Tag Team Championship as well.

As a token of appreciation for all the labour he expended and the audience he brought to wrestling, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Later in life, Shiek made appearances on The Howard Stern Show and became a recognizable figure on the internet. In his early life, Khosrow even worked as an assistant coach and trained the 1972 USA Olympic Wrestling Team.
