BREAKING: Atletico sign Kevin Gameiro from Sevilla

Atletico Madrid have been on a roll this summer and after signing the likes of Nico Gaitan and Sime Vrsaljko, they have struck a stunning deal for Kevin Gameiro. The Frenchman will join Atletico from Sevilla on a four year deal reportedly costing around 32 million for the Los Rojiblancos and 40m after the add ons.

The French International was the best player for Sevilla last season and now has signed for the Champions League finalists. He will get tough competition from Fernando Torres for the position and will have to prove himself to get the starting spot. Atletico know that a transfer ban is hovering over their head and that’s why they have been pretty busy this summer. The Madrid team have flourished as a top side in in the past few years, making two Champions League final appearances in the process and a league title as well, and with top quality players like Gameiro Atetico will be gunning for glory again at the end of the season.
