One of the brightest tennis stars of the 2020 ATP Tour is undoubtedly the Austrian, Dominic Thiem. He clenched his maiden Grand Slam at the US Open and became World No. 3. But while the 27-year-old found enormous success, several bizarre myths about his training also started floating around. Myth: Dominic went on night runs in the woods

According to the ATP Tour, Thiem won 52% of the total points throughout the season. Carrying that forward the reigning champion of New York has confirmed his participation at the Tokyo Olympics 2021. Additionally, he will also play alongside Roger Federer in the Rod Laver Cup.

Coming back to his training, Dominic goes on night runs in the woods also became a popular myth. Another one is that he swims in ice-cold rivers to meet the needs of a tennis season. All but the fact that he dedicatedly trains pre-season in Miami is false. His consistency and his strength come from the well of potential he has.
