Call of Duty Community Outraged at Activision’s Mysterious Ban on Wonder Kid

The Call of Duty franchise has always targeted an older audience owing to the use of weapon combat in the title. But this has never stopped notorious children from trying their hand at the game.
One such six-year-old prodigy, Rogan “RowdyRogan” Drew, made a name for himself in the community after shocking everyone with his Call of Duty: Warzone skills in streams and videos.
He also has the distinction of being a finalist in a FaZe Clan recruitment challenge. The wonder kid has 84,000 followers on the platform, with 118,000 subscribers on YouTube. But the young gamer received an unexpected ban from Activision while on a live stream on December 10.

In a clip shared by his father, who manages his social accounts, we can see Rogan in tears following his ban.
As some of you know, Rogan was banned from Warzone on stream tonight. The Team and us are currently trying to handle the situation and will keep you guys updated. Thank you for all the support. #FreeRogan pic.twitter.com/df1B28Fa8R

While the reason behind his ban remains clouded in mystery, the community believes that it has to do with the player’s age. Players need to be at least 13 years of age to play the title and Rogan is just half of that.
Will Activision make an exception?
Call of Duty: Warzone player RowdyRogan faces unexpected ban
Activision guidelines clearly state that a player needs to be at least 13 years of age to use its products. But the publisher also specifies that “parents and guardians familiarize themselves with parental controls available on Devices they provide to their child and accompany their child if aged under 13 years of age, or the applicable age in your jurisdiction, when online.”
Rogan throughout his streams is accompanied by his father. It is possible that Activision might be contradicting its guidelines if the young gamer’s age is the reason behind the ban. However, without a specific reason for the ban, we don’t know if this is the case or not.
