Call Of Duty Warzone – NadeShot Says SBMM on ‘Another Level’

There is always some or the other debate around Call of Duty: Warzone. And in most cases, Esports organization 100 Thieves has something to speak about. Jack “Courage” Dunlop recently called out cheaters in the game. Now, founder Nadeshot has come in complaining about the Skill Based Matchmaking in the Call of Duty title.

Skill Based Matchmaking ( SBMM) is a system that matches similarly skilled/experienced players. This in turn, leads to a more balanced experience with players feeling at home. If a new player was to be matched with much more experienced players, it would kill of the fun elements and would result in the player never returning.

While every game tries to favor the new guys, it is a bit of a difficult task. Recently, Apex Legends dev opened up on the issue calling the matter at hand “hard”. Similarly, Warzone too is a Battle Royale that aims to fix SBMM.
The 100T founder wants his games to be more relaxing; something that most can relate to. However, this is not the first time Nadeshot has called out the game for the same issue.

Previously, in March, Nadeshot had asked why implement SBMM if there is no ranking system they can abide with. He wrote, “I’ll never understand why Call of Duty goes through all of the trouble to implement skill based matchmaking but won’t add a ranking system. If you’re going to match me up against better players, why can’t I have a rank to be proud of and work towards?”

While the CEO is in perplexity, another 100T member, Courage has been calling out cheaters in the game. Just a few days back, Courage stated he runs into a lot of cheaters while in-game.
End of the day, most players and pros want both the issues fixed. Infinity Ward might want to cater to the issue to fix the game and keep it engaging for all alike.
