Call of Duty Warzone: New Squad Shatters Kills Record

The latest entry into the Battle Royale genre, Call of Duty Warzone, is a wildly popular right now. The arcade shooter has given the genre a bit of a twist with features like Gulag and buying back teammates and whatnot. Add to that the ever-present CoD fan base, and you can understand why the game boasts of over 60 million players. Many streamers, pros, and high-profile gamers have really taken to it since it released in March. Naturally, with many streamers teaming up and wreaking havoc in the game, we’ve gotten a lot of content to watch over the last few months.

Less than a couple of weeks back, a squad of popular gamers set a new kill record in Call of Duty Warzone. Symfuhny, TylerTeePee, DougisRaw, and HusKerrs got together and managed an awesome 121 kills on May 15. As you’d expect, many took to social media to congratulate the squad on the terrific record. It is truly an astonishing feat, and naturally, anyone would proudly display that record. They probably expected it to hold for a while at least.

Alas, it was not to be. Another squad broke that record recently. In fact, they did not just break it, they absolutely shattered it.

The winner of three Warzone Wednesdays, Vikram “Vikkstar123” Singh, along with his three teammates, notched up an unreal 138 kills! His teammates included three pros from FaZe Atlanta, McArthur “Cellium” Jovel, Tyler “aBeZy” Pharris, and Preston “Priestahh” Greiner.

While the number was initially thought to be 137, it turned out one kill was left unregistered.

Many other high profile gamers, streamers, and content creators took to Twitter to voice their amazement at the record. This included the likes of Nadeshot, Courage, Attach, and many more.

No wonder Vikkstar123 is dominating Warzone Wednesdays; he seems to have the magic touch.

As his tweet says, the broadcast of the record-breaking session will be out tomorrow. Have to say, many will be waiting for it, hoping to get some pointers.
