She held the title of Slam-less World Number one for a long time in her career, but eventually, she had put an end to that remark at the beginning of this year. The Dane, Caroline Wozniacki has finally opened up her major account in Melbourne this year. “I think winning the Australian Open was incredible. I’m very proud of it. I wouldn’t have switched that for anything this year”, expressed Wozniacki. Presently the Danish champion is focusing and trying to qualify for Singapore. She says, “I think that’s kind of the goal: qualify for Singapore, play well there, finish off the season strong, then call it a year. Then you regroup and get ready for Australia”.

Getting a little bit of the track, Caroline was asked about her golf interests and whom does she root for in general. She replied that she doesn’t really follow golf due to her busy schedule and does not have any favourites. “I don’t really follow the Ryder Cup, to be honest. Just keeping busy here. I know it’s happening right now. But, yeah, I don’t really have a favourite, to be honest,” Wozniacki said.
