Charles Leclerc slowly seems to realise that he is among the big boys now and all focus is needed. So, it recently transpired that the Monegasque driver broke up with his girlfriend Giada Gianni.

According to Vanity Fair, she said, “Charles left me. He wants to devote himself only to Ferrari.”

Evidently, Charles Leclerc did not want any distractions from his social life when he focuses on his Formula One career. The young Ferrari driver has yet to comment on this latest development in his social life. However, he is currently focusing on the situation at Ferrari that began after the Russian Grand Prix.

During a safety car period, Lewis Hamilton pitted for fresh tyres and was soon past Charles Leclerc, struggling with an old set. To make matters even worse, Valtteri Bottas ended up ahead of him and built the Berlin Wall in just a few laps. Needless to say, poor old Charles Leclerc was unable to breach the defense on older and harder tyres.

He spoke after the race, “We are, and I think everyone on the grid is, struggling to keep these tyres in temperature any time we are behind a Safety Car. If you are on a medium, already it’s a disadvantage, and if it’s a bit worn, then it’s another disadvantage.

“So we didn’t want to take the risk to lose more than one position. I think we did the right choice. Looking back, you can always think about a better scenario – but at that time I think it was the right decision for us.”
