Bahrain GP 2019: Charles LeClerc Did Not Follow Team Orders

During last night’s Bahrain GP 2019, the Ferrari duo ran riot for a fair amount of time. It even culminated in the two duelling with each other. At one point of time, Sebastian Vettel was leading with teammate Charles LeClerc doggedly tailing him.

Then, the order came from Ferrari to maintain position and bring the cars home. However, Charles LeClerc had other idea and tussled with his teammate. Soon enough, he snatched the lead, to Ferrari’s chagrin.

The race carried on for both drivers, until Vettel bottled it all on his own. Lewis Hamilton had overtaken the German and Vettel was trying to get the place back when he spun.

After contact with a Racing Point un-lapping itself, he lost his front wing. Then, things got even worse for Ferrari as Charles LeClerc suddenly developed an issue and began to lose power.

Both Mercedes swooped past and Max Verstappen nearly did the same.

But was this karmic justice towards Charles LeClerc for ignoring team orders?
