The two players have been seen together during the previous Indian Premier League seasons. However, former Indian team player Yuvraj Singh will not be taking part in Indian Premier League 2020.

He participated in the Canada and Abu Dhabi tournaments. To participate in such tournaments it is mandatory a player announces their retirement from Indian Premier League and International Cricket. If this procedure is not followed then the BCCI will not give a no-objection certificate.

In fact, due to the same exact reason Pravin Tambe is not going to be playing in the Indian Premier League 2020. He was supposed to be playing as a part of Kolkata Knight Riders. However, he participated in the Abu Dhabi tournament without announcing his retirement from IPL. Considering this is a violation of BCCI policies, he is currently on ban from any cricket related activities.
