Hardik Pandya returns to cricket with a magnificent performance. He bagged four fours, four sixes, and three wickets during the DY Patil T20 cup 2020.

Hardik Pandya makes a strong comeback

This was one of his first matches after over five whole months. His performance was enough for others to have a reminder of why he is one of the best all-rounders in the Indian team. The last time that Hardik played for India was against South Africa in September. However, he suffered a back injury and had to undergo surgery. As a result he was on rest and recovery.

Now, he is back with both his batting and bowling skills. He entered the field at number 4 for Reliance 1. Within 25 balls he raked up a score of 38 runs. This put Reliance 1 at over 150 runs for 8 wickets.

This performance is enough for his fans, friends, and foes to know he has not lost any form. In fact, four fours and four sixes are exactly what he needed to show the management and millions of people his capability.

All the sixes that Pandya scored were against Varun Sood’s bowling. Reliance 1 was not in a great position when Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed for 14. Fortunately, Pandya and Saurabh Tiwary put the team back on track. Pandya’s excellent batting was truly helpful for Reliance 1. It put the team in a 25 run win over Bank of Baroda.

Not only is his batting skills well nurtured, but also his bowling skills. Only 26 runs were scored from his overs and he took a total of three wickets. Additionally, Rahul Chahar showed his form by taking a total of five wickets. Bank of Baroda was bowled out for 125 runs.

Hardik Pandya’s excellent performance puts him in a good spot. This performance will help him come under the spotlight with the selection committee for the three match ODI against South Africa.
