The Indian Premier League shared a photo of Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni to aware fans of the COVID-19.
The deadly coronavirus has gripped all the countries across the globe. The whole world has been shut down. As a result, all the events, tournaments or engagements have either been canceled or suspended.
In the wake of coronavirus, BCCI postponed the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). Though earlier the board planned to conduct the event after April 15. But with a rise in the number of coronavirus cases in India, this seems impossible.

The virus has affected more than 3,80,000 people so far with 16,500 losing their lives globally. The coronavirus cases have reached 500 in India with 10 deaths. The cases are increasing rapidly in India and curfew has been imposed in many states. This is done to prevent the further spread of the virus.

In these testing times, the official twitter handle of Indian Premier League shared a candid picture of India’s former skipper MS Dhoni. Mahi is wearing the jersey of his IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings in the pic.
Along with the picture, the Indian Premier League wrote a caption, “Stay Home, Stay safe you guys.” The motive of posting the picture was to educate people about the importance of staying home amidst the coronavirus outbreak.

On the professional front, Mahi was last seen on the field during the World Cup 2019. He last played the semi-final match against New Zealand in the world cup.

MS was expected to make a return to the Indian team after the IPL 2020. His performance in the tournament will decide his future in the team. However, this is still not confirmed if BCCI would be hosting the IPL this year or not. Therefore, MS Dhoni’s position in the National Cricket team of India is uncertain.
