India is expected to tour Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in December-January this year. Also, they are scheduled to play a three-match ODI and T20 series against Australia. It would be interesting to watch the two teams play against each other as the last time India had outshined the Kangaroos in their home. India had registered their first test series win against Australia in Australia under the leadership of Virat Kohli in 2018-19. However, the two key batsmen Steve Smith and David Warner were absent from the team in that series. When asked about the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Smith said, “Can’t wait. Going to be awesome“.

Also, the 31-year-old hailed Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja as the best fielder from the current lot. He also picked Pakistan’s Mohammad Amir as the toughest bowler he faced during his career.
