Virender Sehwag Takes to Twitter to Explain the Importance of Staying Home in His Own Style

The number of positive cases of COVID-19 in India is rising at an alarming rate. At this point, almost everyone is taking to social media to express their concern. A number of celebrities and sports personalities are taking to Twitter to caution their fans. Recently, Virender Sehwag took to Twitter to let his audience know the importance of staying at home.

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, announced Janta Curfew for Sunday 22nd March.

Virender Sehwag took to Twitter to let others know how important it is to follow this routine. He says that it is important everyone stays at home. This is the only way to ensure that Coronavirus does not spread any further.

“Poora Bharat Aaram se Ghar par Rahega, Yeh Corona Virus yahaan se jald daudega. Please please stay at home and we shall overcome this soon.”

Coronavirus is spreading at an alarming rate and needs to be curbed under all costs

As of now India has over 350 positive cases. It is expected that he numbers will rise rapidly from this point onwards. The only way to curb the Coronavirus spread is by staying home. In fact, the reason for the Janta Curfew is to ensure that the citizens start the process of self isolation. The curfew will last from 7am to 9pm. There is going to be a round of applause from 5pm to 5:05pm for the medical staff working tirelessly.

The rise in cases are severe enough that almost all events are facing cancellations. Either it’s getting scrapped or is getting postponed. As of now, no one can provide a future date given the gravity of the situation. The best way to stay safe is to stay home.
