Doctors, nurses, and other essential services workers have been putting in all their hours to fight COVID-19. Their effort is not going unnoticed. Everyone globally is praising their efforts and recently, David Warner and Adam Gilchrist did the same.

Cricket player David Warner took to social media to appreciate Shreyas Sresth. Shreyas is currently studying Computer Science in University of Queensland and is originally from Bangalore, India.

“Good day, namaste. I am here to thank Shreyas Sresth for selfless work during COVID 19. Shreyas is doing his Masters in Computer Science at the University of Queensland. He is a part of the University’s outreach program preparing and delivering food packets to students in need right now.”

Furthermore, Warner added that he believes his parents are extremely proud of what he is doing. He hopes that Shreyas continues his great work and assured him that everyone is in this together.

Adam Gilchrist takes to social media to spread a token of appreciation

On the other hand, veteran Australia cricketer Adam Gilchrist takes to social media to thank Sharon Vergese. She is nurse student from Kerala, India and currently helping with fighting COVID-19.

“Hi. I am Adam Gilchrist. I was delighted to hear about the act of kindness by Sharon Vergese, an Indian student, studying in Australia. Sharon is an a student of University of Wollongong and during the Covid-19 pandemic, she gave up her time to act as an age-care worker.”

Additionally, Gilchrist says that he is delighted to learn she has spent over three years in Australia. He wants to take this time thank her for her selfless act and believes that her entire family and country is proud of her contribution.
