WATCH: David Warner Shaves His Head To Show Support Towards the Frontline Workers of Coronavirus

The ones who are the true heroes during the time of Coronavirus are the frontline workers. Every doctor, nurse, and essential services worker is doing their job round the clock. As a tribute, David Warner decided to address his nomination to shave his head. This was in support for all the frontline workers.

David Warner creates a time lapse video of of him shaving his head. He uploaded the video on Instagram. While he thanks Tommy Berry and James McDonald for the nomination, he also nominates a few others.

According to the post, David Warner nominates Steve Smith, Pat Cummins, Virat Kohli, Piers Morgan, Joe Burns, Travis Smyth, Adam Zampa, and Marcus Stoinis.

There are other players around the globe who are trying to do their bit to ensure enough funds and supplies are available. For example, Indian cricket team batsman Rohit Sharma made a donation of INR 80 lakhs.

Additionally, veteran players Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan have done their part with supplies. They donated 4,000 masks for the section of the society who cannot afford them but desperately need them.

The world needs to fight COVID-19 together

Every major and minor event of 2020 is suffering the consequences of Coronavirus. Events such Indian Premier League 2020, Olympics 2020, T20 World Cup 2020 and others are either getting cancelled or postponed to 2021 and beyond.

Now, the entire world is trying to battle the same virus at the same time. Governments are putting their nations under lockdown, citizens are quarantined at home, and scientists are trying to come up with a vaccine. There is no saying when and how the virus will be curbed. However, at this moment there is nothing more important social distancing. That is the only thing which every medical worker is emphasising on.
