Henry Cejudo has been gathering a great amount of attention with his gimmicks lately. Cejudo has called out a number of former UFC champions for his next fight. The double champ has called out former featherweight champion, Jose Aldo, former lightweight champion, Frankie Edgar, and former bantam weight champion, Dominic Cruz.

Recently on his “Public Service Announcement”, Henry Cejudo was seen referring his championship titles as babies and telling them a story before calling out Dominic Cruz. Cejudo said he wanted an easy fight, and hence he called out “brittle” Dominic Cruz.

And now we have UFC president Dana White responding to Cejudo’s callouts. when asked about Cejudo’s recent call outs, Dana said:

Tell him to start calling Benavidez

few days back Dana White also said that henry cejudo needs to defend his flyweight title or else he might have to give up his title.

“Right now, we have some things playing out at 135 pounds. What we’d like to see Cejudo do is defend his title against Benavidez. It’s the right thing to do. If he can’t, then he needs to give up one of the belts”

Well, Dana White was eager to get rid of the flyweight division on first place until Henry Cejudo knocked out TJ Dillashaw, saving the whole division. Then henry would go ahead to win the bantam weight title by defeating Marlon Moraes. And now he has been calling out fighters from the bantamweight division leaving the flyweight division without any title. Jospeh Benavidez is the number one contender for the flyweight gold who has already defeated Cejudo in their first fight. hence it does make a case for Benavidaz to fight for the title. However, that’s the issue we face with the “Double Champs” . The champion needs to defend his titles at multiple divisions.

We have to wait and see what goes on between Henry Cejudo and UFC to find out the next opponent for Cejudo.
