Renault driver Daniel Ricciardo finished the French Grand Prix 2019 in 7th place, with only the usual suspects and Carlos Sainz ahead of him. While the race leaders were stuck in their own separate races, the action was unfolding in the midfield. Daniel Ricciardo can attest to that as he was right in the thick of it.

Unfortunately, some drivers had issues with Ricciardo’s aggressive tactics, particularly Romain Grosjean. However, Daniel Ricciardo did not care a jot and responded in the only way he knew how, tongue-in-cheek. With a glint in his eye Daniel Ricciardo simply said “f*** ’em all” in his defence.

The Australian was unapologetic for his late-race action during the French Grand Prix. Those actions included two passes which were achieved courtesy exceeding the track limits.

However, it seemed that the stewards wee not particularly impressed with that little stunt. So, Daniel Ricciardo was called to the stewards after the race at Paul Ricard, having passed both Lando Norris and Kimi Raikkonen late in the race.

Later, while speaking with Dutch TV station Ziggo Sport, Ricciardo was back to his cheeky self. In other words, he delivered his bullish response to an investigation into his actions.

On a more serious note, he admitted that he’s still getting to grips with the Renault in terms of overtaking.

Now, according to the stewards, Ricciardo was penalised and dropped out of the points to be classified 11th.
