Iga Swiatek & Rafael Nadal after their French Open Win

The Polish professional Iga Swiatek had to get past the American Sofia Kenin to win her first Grand Slam title. Kenin, who is ranked at World No. 4, lost to her 6-4, 6-1. Rafael Nadal, on the other hand, triumphed against the Serbian and World No. 1 Novak Djokovic in a commanding manner. The scoreline said 6-0, 6-2, 7-5.

Considering the strict COVID-19 regulations, the tournament added substantial pressure on the players. Therefore, it becomes more understandable that both Iga and Nadal are taking this time off to recover. Moreover, they would aim to return with a fresher and more focused approach.

Fans of both the players are counting days to see their talents telecasted on the tennis court again.
