Eden Hazard to Be Back for the Manchester City Fixture

What would a better sight for a Real Madrid fan to see Eden Hazard on the field? The Belgium international has been training according to Spanish outlet AS. The Galacticos’s big-money signing, Hazard, has been missed at the Santiago Bernabeu. They would certainly be happy to see him back.

Though it has been reported that Eden Hazard is yet to take part in a full training season with his team. He’s predominantly taken sessions alone trying to get back to fitness. Real Madrid are cautious about his comeback. As they don’t want him to be rushed back without fully recovering.

Eden Hazard was injured in a Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain when he got tackled by his countryman Thomas Meunier. He sustained an ankle injury due to the challenge, which kept the former Chelsea forward out for two months.

However, Real Madrid are not expecting Eden Hazard to be back for their derby with Atletico Madrid on Sunday. As mentioned earlier, the 29-year-old is still not back to full training and hence Zinedine Zidane‘s men won’t be expecting him to be involved. 

The La Liga leaders though expect their talisman to back for their Champions fixture against Manchester City. Real Madrid are set to be facing Pep Guardiola‘s Manchester City on the 26th of February. 

The Belgian has only played 984 minutes for Real Madrid since arriving from Chelsea in a big money summer move. His return currently stands at 1 goal and 2 assists, a stat he would be keen to improve on.

Real Madrid are currently sitting pretty at the top of the La Liga after they beat Real Valladolid 1-0 yesterday. They now hold a three points lead over arch-rivals Barcelona as Quique Setien and his men lost to Valencia 3-0.
