EFL Championship Football League Table Promising a Massive Battle

Norwich City, Sheffield United and Leeds United are currently locked in a battle for the EFL Championship. All three teams are separated by just a handful of points at the top of the championship football league table.

Both Norwich and Leeds will be playing on Saturday against Millwall and West Brom respectively. Sheffield will go up against Sheffield Wednesday in the meantime. Fans can head over to Football prediction site Sporticos to predict the outcome of these matches.

Norwich City are currently gunning for teenage Tottenham Hotspurs player Maxwell Statham. With this, Norwich are aiming to shore up their defence with the centre-back.

Statham has recently trained with Mauricio Pochettino’s first team but appears to be heading out of the club and actually featured for City’s development squad in a 4-0 Premier League Two defeat against Wolves last month.

If Maxwell does join the Canaries, people will be flocking to the nearest hot prediction site and trying to make football predictions on how he will fare.

Meanwhile, Sheffield United are strengthening their own defence by offering Jack O’Connell a new deal with the Championship promotion hopefuls until the end of the 2022-23 season.

The 24-year-old centre-back has featured in 130 games for the Blades ever since he joined from Brentford in 2016.

He also made 100 consecutive starts to the season. Sadly, he sustained a hamstring strain earlier this month.

Finally, moving on to the third protagonist of the EFL Championship Football League, Leeds United will be bracing themselves for their match against West Brom.

But they are opting for an interesting strategy, as manager, Marcelo Bielsa will be sending an unchanged line-up. This same line-up lost 1-0 to Queens Park Rangers, but Bielsa is confident that his side will prevail.

A Leeds win will take them top of the table, with leaders Norwich away at Millwall on Saturday and Sheffield United facing city rivals Wednesday at Hillsborough on Monday.
