David Beckham is not a stranger to anybody. After all, he’s one of the best soccer players in history. Besides being a sportsman, he is a successful businessman too. Beckham owns many businesses, including an MLS team called Inter Miami. These ventures helped him increase his net worth, as he is currently worth $450 Million.

Beckham is no less than a hero in England. Further, he also played for many big-name soccer clubs like Manchester United, Real Madrid, PSG, AC Milan, and LA Galaxy. He has signed many lucrative contracts while playing for these clubs in his decorated career. However, his most lucrative deal was with a video game.

FIFA 21 got David Beckham his biggest deal

Aside from Beckham’s big soccer club contracts, he also had lucrative deals with various big-name brands like Adidas, Konami, and Jaguar. After all, brands like to have world-class players representing them. However, the biggest contract in the 47-year-old’s career came after he hung up his boots.

After retiring from soccer, Beckham signed a lucrative three-year deal with Electronic Arts for the FIFA video games. According to the reports, his EA contract is worth $40 million to $53 million. Surprisingly, this deal was also the most lucrative one in his career, even more than the ones he earned in his playing days.

The last time Beckham appeared on the cover of a FIFA game was in 1998. So, this EA deal brought him back on the game’s cover after 23 years. Mbappe appeared on FIFA 21’s official game cover. However, EA later released a special David Beckham edition, and he appeared on that special edition’s cover. He also got a special Icon player card in the game.

The FIFA 23 is just a few days away from release. Further, it might be the last game that EA will have under the branding of FIFA as their long-term deal with the football organization ends after the release of the upcoming title.

The Englishman was part of the last two FIFA games, and in FIFA 22, he had four Icon Cards, the highest one rated 94. So, there is a huge possibility for him to appear in the upcoming FIFA 23. He might again receive multiple Icon player cards. It would be fantastic to play as the magnificent midfielder in the game once again.
