Amouranth Bashes Her Critics for Hypocrisy – “Men Can Create Women Characters in Video Games and It Is Perfectly Well Received”

Internet sensation and top Twitch streamer, Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa have been at the center of many controversies in 2021. The 28-year-old streamer has received bans from Instagram and TikTok. Following what seemed like a tradition, even Twitch handed out multiple bans that disrupted her revenue stream greatly.

The American streamer shed light on the industry’s hypocrisy with regard to her treatment. She took shots at the community for playing video game titles for offering the same content that she delivers. Kaitlyn also suggested that her critiques have issues with real women embracing their bodies but not with digital characters made by men.

The livestreamer shed light on all the major titles that teenagers and adults play on Twitch. These top-rated games portray women in a similar fashion, but it never lands those that are producing the content in trouble.

“It is ironic that people have issues with real women embracing their sexuality when on all the video games that these teenagers and adults play on Twitch there’s legit women being sexualized constantly. There’s games like Dead or Alive, where it’s just women in Bikini’s essentially trying to fight each other and bounce each other’s butts at each other and that’s fine.

“You know, there is GTA that has strippers, and that’s fine. It’s only real women that we can’t have embrace your sexuality for profitable gains, but men can create women characters in video games and sell it to the masses and it is perfectly well received.”

The attack on the American streamer hasn’t detracted her one bit, as she continues to pull in a massive sum. In the same documentary feature, the streamer claimed that she pulls in 1.5 million dollars each month but it indeed comes at a costly price. She stated that her job demands her to work tirelessly every single day without ever taking a single day off.
