Is it so hard to believe that the original trilogy of Modern warfare is now over a decade old? Well, for some fans who grew up on these games, this fact might seem too hard to digest. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3  was a massive part of a trilogy, which brought everything to a close and gave the world a well-written, well-directed, and perfectly executed conclusion.

Nothing tops that, and a recent surge of viewership count of a particular Modern Warfare 3 tournament has proved this claim. Activision has been trying its best to bring the franchise back to its glory, but having them get beaten by a legendary title is just embarrassing. This not only beat Warzone but also conquered giants like Valorant, Apex Legends, CS: GO, Elden Ring, and more.

The multiplayer might not be 100% perfect, but the story mode delivered some iconic moments and unforgettable characters that fans aren’t willing to forget.

The perfection of the multiplayer in all three titles could simply be found in their imperfections and the community thoroughly enjoyed them because they were simply fun. Lastly, there was no skill-based matchmaking and players truly played just to have a good time, and the competitive nature was reserved for custom lobbies only.
