Rafael Nadal is one of the greatest tennis players of all time and there’s no doubt about this fact. His supremacy on the clay court is unmatched and hitherto unsurpassed by anyone.

Apart from being an ace tennis star, however, Rafael Nadal also has a passion for gaming. So much so that he once challenged his British rival and a very good friend for a game of Virtua Tennis!

Rafael Nadal makes Andy Murray agree to the challenge involving a PlayStation match of Virtua Tennis

In 2020, the official ATP Tour YouTube channel uploaded an interesting interaction of Rafa with two great sportspersons. While one was the former tennis legend Roger Federer, other individual was none other than Andy Murray, the British star. The live video chat was, however, quite a big task to achieve for Nadal as it was revealed that it was his first Instagram live session.

After chatting with Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal switched gears and tried to connect with Andy. As mentioned above, he again had some problem while making everything work. It looked slightly funny as well as he shared his weak social media skills with Murray. Both of them had an amazing time while sharing stuff from on and off the field.

Suddenly, Andy asked Rafael about his PlayStation experience. That year, the king of clay was preparing for a virtual tennis tournament for which he was spending a lot of hours on his console.

While replying to Murray, Rafa then thought to throw him a challenge. He asked the British star to join him in a match of Virtua Tennis. Firstly, Murray seemed slightly unenthusiastic as he mentioned his busy schedule. But Nadal pushed him strongly to take up the challenge. “Andy, come on!”, he urged him to get ready for the gaming battle. Eventually, Muzzcard agreed to take part in the virtual encounter.
