Discussing the upcoming installment in Gran Turismo saga, Yamauchi said that the game has a high level of realism this time. Explaining it, he mentioned that the title will support amazing DualSense controls with adaptive triggers. Furthermore, Yamauchi said that Gran Turismo 7 will also support high resolution gameplay, including 4K 60 fps with HDR enabled. So that way, the title will appear even more realistic than its predecessors. Sharing his own experience of playing the game, he mentioned that he felt more than actual realism while driving the cars. In his words, the experience just “exceeded a certain level”. According to him, his team worked a lot on keeping the natural aspect of racing and driving from the very beginning.
Gran Turismo 7’s original launch window was supposed to be in 2021, but then the title faced a delay, the reason being the ongoing pandemic and its impact. But now it will eventually release next year on March 4 2022, as a PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 exclusive.
