EA alongside Respawn entertainment, decided to launch a rank system for their top-grossing title, Apex Legends. The decision came in post-season one’s success, as the franchise wanted to set out a platform for the pros. In conclusion of this, they introduced the first-ever rank system during the 2nd season, which was released in July 2019. 

Introducing a rank system was a delight for the professionals. Moreover, they finally had a platform to showcase their talent. Each one of them had their eyes fixed on the first position, as it would make them the best player in the world. Two such players, ImperialHal and HisWattson are aiming for #1 pred (the highest rank of the game) for a long time.

ImperialHal vs. HisWattson – who will win the Apex Legends showdown?

It is not a secret that Hal is currently one of the best players in the world. After all, fans know this Wraith main for exceptional in-game leadership skills and last-minute clutches. Hal has been amongst the prominent players, alongside Aceu and Daltoosh, who have contributed to the game’s success.

However, post 13 seasons, the TSM Player seems to battle against a new name for the number one spot.

ImperialHal and HisWattson have been going against each other since the start of the 13th season. The duo is constantly trying to stay ahead of one another in terms of rank points, ultimately fighting for #1 pred. For those uninitiated, the predator is the highest of Apex Legends, featuring the top 500 players in the world. It adjusts the ranking according to the Rp (Rank Points), giving players multiple opportunities to finish higher.

The game entered its 13th season on May 10th, 2022. With its inauguration, players from different parts of the world started grinding for a higher rank.

HisWattson and ImperialHal were successful to bag the first two positions as they already had the most points. To talk in numbers, Wattson is currently leading the table with 35,118 rank points, followed by Hal, who’s stuck at 34,065. The situation started heating up not only in games but also on social media.

Phillip Dosen, popularly known as ImperialHal in showbiz, is one of the greatest Apex Legends players in the world. Fans know him for exploiting his opponents with top-grossing characters such as Wraith and Ash. Interestingly, Hal has over 13,000 ALGS points alongside the crown of the best in-game leader to date.
