“They choose someone who spends his days blogging about the NFL rather than the person who has played their games since King’s Field and has listed their games as his favorite games among his Top 10.”

Adding further, he even said that Mr. Martin has no idea of video games as has hardly played any major AAA entry so far in his life.

“George doesn’t play videogames! George has no idea.”

Well, Sanderson’s argument makes sense since the Game of Thrones author, himself, had admitted to not being a fan of gaming. His only favorites include the likes of strategy titles, such as Railroad Tycoon, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and Master of Orion.

So him joining Elden Ring to compose its mythology feels a little out of place; at least that’s what Brandon Sanderson thinks.
