Halo Infinite co-op campaign won’t be out anytime soon and fans are pretty upset. A few days back, Joseph Staten confirmed that season 1 will continue till May 2022. And the devs won’t be releasing the co-op campaign and the forge modes before May 2022. Joseph Staten is the creative head of 343 Industries, who are the official developers of the game.

A few months back, the devs confirmed that the co-op campaign will be featured in season 2.

Season 3 will feature the Forge mode that enables players to customize various elements of the game. The devs had plans to set the time period of a single season to three months, but just a few days back there was a change of plans, and the devs announced that season one will last till May 2022, which is seven months long.

Seven months is a significant duration for a season, to be honest. So, the extended time period of season 1 is the main reason behind the delay in the co-op campaign and Forge mode.

The devs also said that they will use this time to improve the quality of the game. So, it’s very likely that fans will get to experience some new content in the coming few days. The co-op campaign will release as soon as season 2 comes out in May 2022. And the fans shouldn’t even be thinking of the Forge mode because season 3 is still a long way down the road.

“At the time that we talked about campaign co-op and Forge I said our goal is to ship campaign co-op in Season 2 and our goal is to ship Forge with Season 3. Yes, we are extending Season 1. So our goal still remains what I said before, which is to ship campaign co-op with Season 2 and Forge with Season 3.”

Joseph also shared that the devs are well aware of the problematic battle pass progression and are working on a fix. In fact, they are even open to communicating with the fans regarding any major decisions about the game.
