Hours After Its Release Call of Duty MWII Is Now Being Accused Of Permanent Banning Players For “Supposedly Never Cheating”

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II has already been launched, and although the fan base is having fun with the game, reports of gamers being permanently banned are grabbing attention. This is especially intriguing because some people who have been banned assert that they didn’t cheat at all.
But why are they getting banned and what are the reasons behind the backlash toward the game despite not being banned?

Call of Duty bans players without proper reason
According to complaints from fans, it seems that the recently released game is banning players for no apparent reason. It has also been a constant point of complaint by fans that they weren’t informed of the reason for being banned.

YES, please help us address this. I spent 100 dollars for the vault edition in September just to play for two hours yesterday and got perma banned. No reason in emails and have no history of cheating. Would do a full pc scan for Activision.

Although some say that they are banned from Modern Warfare II only and not from any other Call of Duty title as of now. Fans also said that they have been playing Vanguard and the Beta version of the game without any issues but as soon as they brought the game, it banned them.

Yes played for 2 hours Thursday night into Friday morning. Woke up to a perma ban, but the ban is only on MW2 can still play Warzone and Vanguard.

I got banned on vanguard for no reason. Said account manipulation but I’ve had the same account since Xbox 360 Just brought over to pc in mw. No issues with cold war and than vanguard than banned on mw2 beta for no reason again.

The situation became even worse when fans started getting replies from the development team saying that they have been banned from Call of Duty because of the use of unauthorized software while playing the game. This was unacceptable to fans as they thought it was just an automated reply by the company and that they are not looking into the matter deeply.

Another thing that fans complained about was the buggy gameplay that has caused a lot of backlash for the game in the past few hours. The biggest concern for the players was the fact that they paid full price for the game but still had to experience some buggy gameplay.

Although many said that the game had a lot of faults, many fans thought that the game is just perfect and that it was actually the fault of the players for not being supportive enough.
It’s just alot of the people that cheated on warzone crying about their consequences, 4 of my friends that openly cheated on warzone brought MW2 and were banned 4 hours in, you can work around it pretty easily but it’s still funny to watch everyone cry.

Notably, some fans thought that the reason so many people were getting banned was because of some old hack that they used in the previous games that got linked with this one as well. Although others said that they were new to the game, but still got banned for apparently no reason.
If this is the case, it's almost certainly some non-related app they have that hooks into DirectX for other reasons that the heuristics of their new anti-cheat engine detects as a cheat. Could be anything from an app syncing RGB lights to your game to capture software for stream.

this only happens if your account gets hacked, it happened to me before. Otherwise they probably cheated in a previous COD and didn't know it carries over
