“I Was Sort of the Class Clown” – Iconic YouTuber Dr Disrespect Once Voiced the Upliftment His ‘Doc’ Persona Gives and How It Originated in the First Place

YouTuber Dr Disrespect aka “two-time” has been a legendary streamer in the community for several years. His champion persona uplifts the viewers and engages them in a feeling of the streamer’s motto: Violence, Speed, Momentum. However, the streamer once voiced that he happens to be the “exact opposite” of his character in real life.

About five years ago, Dr Disrespect appeared in the H3 Podcast wherein he revealed how he developed the persona of the “Doc” and how it differs from his in-real-life personality, Plus, he admitted that the persona takes him back to having a carefree feeling and motivating him to do what he wants.

Those who follow Dr Disrespect know pretty well that the personality is known massively known for his VSM-filled streams. Right from the introduction to the outro, the streamer binds his every stream as if he is natural to do so. But it is shocking that the highly celebrated entertainer is in fact shy to be on camera when not in his “Doc” character.

Dr Disrespect goes honest about his Doc persona, its origin, and how he is different from it in-real-life

Ethan Klein, the co-host of the H3 podcast, asked Dr Disrespect about the ‘Doc’ persona. To this, Doc replied, “I’m actually pretty, I’m actually pretty shy. I’m actually pretty shy, stay to myself, I’m pretty shy. I don’t like the limelight I don’t like being in front of cameras, like taking pictures it’s the exact opposite.”

Furthermore, Ethan asked if the character enables him to live a different reality that he always wanted to. To this Doc said, “It certainly is a fix for being able to be as expressive as I want to be. It’s funny cuz when I grew up I was sort of the class clown. I was like the guy who made people laugh and stuff like that. And then you know as I got older I kind of got I kind of transformed into a shy person, and you know I stayed to myself. But I don’t really socialize too much and if I do it’s like I have to get warmed up a little bit.”

He continued, “So this allows, like this actually kind of brings back like my old the days a little bit. And like it allows me to tap into that being a kid again and just being expressive and just carefree. ‘Who cares what you think about me I don’t care I’m gonna do anything and everything that I want to do and there’s nothing you can do about it,’ kind of, kind of  expressive.”

Interestingly, Doc revealed that the character was inspired by player interactions through the proximity chat feature of Halo 2 lobbies and he transformed the voice into a character and then into a persona which to date is one of the most loved by the fans.
