Battle.net has been around for a very long time. Blizzard entertainment developed it in 1996 with a vision of adding a library of games under one roof. The online service has gained massive popularity over the years, as now it has safely landed on the steam servers.

Apart from the releases, this update will solve existing problems faced by users. First, it will reduce the use of multiple launchers as players will be able to store all their titles in one place. Second, with the Activision titles getting added, users will have an opportunity to buy games at a cheaper rate.

Is there a future post Modern Warfare II?

As much as we would love to see what the future beholds for Battle.Net and Activision, we don’t have any confirmation about more titles getting added to it. There might be a possibility of the franchise halting releases after the Call Of Duty 2, so the most we can do is count the days until a new release.
