Hollywood stars’ collaboration with other well-known entities on different platforms to promote their projects is nothing new. From television talk shows and concerts to even making cameo appearances in different reality shows and series, the marketing campaigns for movies can get very crazy at times. But the internet went into shock when YouTuber Jacksepticeye beat Ryan Reynolds in his own game. 

Seán William McLoughlin, aka Jacksepticeye, is a massive name in the YouTube sphere. He has 28 million plus subscribers and over 5000 videos. Jack is known for his gaming and reaction videos. But he has also dipped his toes in many other formats on his channel, such as making short movies, doing collaboration projects with other content creators, and even hosting interviews with well-known celebrities in Hollywood. 

One of his earlier interviews was with the world-renowned Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds. Back then, Ryan was promoting his second Deadpool movie. That is why Jack was approached for an interview with the actor, where they were supposed to play the Deadpool game while talking about the movie. 

Jacksepticeye showed Ryan Reynolds the ropes for playing Deadpool 

The YouTuber and the actor sat on the couch with a controller in hand to dive into the world of Deadpool. Jack asked Ryan if he ever played video games in his life. “oh, yeah, when I was younger, yeah, I played a ton of video games,” replied the Deadpool actor. “And then now I have a three-year-old and one-year-old at home, so there’s zero time for something like that.”

The famous American voice actor Nolan North played the character of Deadpool in the game. He had such an amazing performance that neither of them couldn’t help but admire his skills. In the video, Jack even proposed that Ryan should do the voice-over of Deadpool for the rest of the interview. But the actor declined as he said, “I don’t want to dump Nolan North, that Guy is a genius.”

As the interview progressed further, Jack handed the controller to Ryan to let him play Deadpool in the game instead of the movies. But as soon as Ryan took control and shifted his focus toward the in-game character model of Deadpool and he was shocked. The proportion of the model made him feel a little insecure as he said, “my B*TT is nearly not as nice.”

For the rest of the video, both of them played the game and had a very good time with each other. Many believe this interaction was the one that made it possible for Jack to have his part in Ryan’s recent movie “The Free Guy”.
