New Addition in Battlefield 2042’s Weekly Mission Pleases Fans Despite Horrific Launch

Last month, the developers launched Battlefield 2042, which had a disastrous start. The game was literally in an unplayable state, and this frustrated the entire gaming community. Fans all over the world had a lot of expectations from this game and were sorely disappointed.

Later on, the developers improved the game with some major patches and updates and the game is at least playable now. Along with these updates/patches, they also introduced some weekly challenges and missions to improve the overall gaming experience of the fans – who seem to have very mixed feelings about it.

One Reddit user that goes by the name of “Zodhr” shared an image on the Battlefield’s Reddit community page. This image features weekly missions for Battlefield 2042.

The fans will get a reward for the completion of these missions. So according to this picture, fans will get a “Deliverance Epic Skin for the MCS-880” as this week’s reward. This week’s challenges include missions like:

  • arm, defuse, or destroy 3 Objectives in Rush, 
  • kill 30 enemies suing Marksman Rifles or Shotguns,
  • revive 50 teammates

The fans have expressed their views over the comment section of the tweet. It has been just a few hours since the post was released. Meanwhile, it has already crossed over 200 comments and has over 95% upvotes. Most of the fans have mixed feelings about these weekly challenges.

Some are happy about this, especially with the revival challenges. However, some fans think that these weekly challenges are just not enough and that the developers need to come up with something more.

To be honest, it looks like the developers are successfully managing to create hype for this game. It’s a major achievement for them because they have at least got fans talking about this.
