The global pandemic of 2020 was harsh upon everyone except the gaming industry. Gaming turned into a full-time occupation in the last few years for many, but the worldwide lockdown gave it an exceptional boost. Content creators like Ninja, Dr Disrespect had already made it big before the year, but streamers like Valkyrae, Disguised Toast and Sykkuno saw a sudden rise in their popularity.

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins allegedly became the first “strict gamer” to reach the $100 million landmark. He is currently the richest gamer in the world. A tweet by Ninja’s manager and wife, Jessica Blevins, on February 19, confirmed this.

NRG Esports Fortnite member Stable Ronaldo brought this to light. Ronaldo’s rant about how Ninja is the richest right now, on his live stream, unveiled a lot about Ninja’s recent jaw-breaking deals and how this was possible for him.

He then compared his earnings to xQC, FaZe Rug and Dr Disrespect, showing that although one may have more viewers while the other has more popularity, none of them are close to Ninja’s overall earnings.
