The disappointing one-day event of ‘Festivale’ is still quite fresh in the community’s mind. In a rather strange move, Nintendo decided to trim down Pave the dancing peacock’s time on the island. Instead of receiving three days, Pave only got to spend 24 hours in the game and was soon booted out. In a similar fashion, Nintendo has taken yet another questionable decision that has seen the removable of ‘Nature Day’.

This fantastic event would usually commence on April 15 and remain on the island for a week. But unfortunately, 2022 will not be hosting the said event, and it has disappointed the ardent fans in the community.

Here’s what Nature Day could have offered you in Animal Crossing New Horizons

The move is indeed shocking and might not seem correct to the hardcore fans. However, the event has only been removed this time around and it was celebrated before. Usually, this event would allow players to engage in new activities, purchase new items, do limited-time nook-mile tasks, and more.

Everything carried the general theme of nature day and it would bring everyone’s attention to safeguarding mother nature. Here’s the list of tasks offered that were offered during the event before. In addition to this, Toom Nook even offered a DIY recipe for the hedge, which can still be obtained through a villager named Leif’s shop.

  •  Tree transplantation

  • craft a crown out of blossom & wreath
  • offer gratitude with flowers, decorate the island
  • planting various seeds, plants, and more

It is still quite a mystery why Nintendo decided to remove this event from the game. The added tasks, new items, and nature-related activities all added more gameplay elements to the game. It is fair to say, that Nook miles are all easily available in Animal Crossing, and fans can earn them by completing simple tasks. But removing everything in one fell swoop seems a bit odd.
