Nintendo Upsets Fans With Its Latest Update on an Eagerly Awaited 2022 Title

Sometimes games just get delayed by developers because of several reasons. In some cases, the game is being updated or getting polished, while in others, the game had to go through rigorous testing. Nintendo is no exception and had recently delayed a few games and also an update for the switch.

Nintendo gave the news themselves on their official website, and fans are not happy about it. After the news was made public, many switch streamers and content creators started complaining about the delay. As this new update was meant to add new awaited games to the Nintendo Switch.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Collector’s edition to get delayed in the UK

Recently, a few games were announced for the Nintendo Switch Cyber Monday. Cyber Monday is an e-commerce term referring to the Monday following the U.S. Thanksgiving weekend. This included games like Legend of Zelda- Breath of the Wild 2. However, on July 18th, the game was announced ‘maybe’ pushed to 2023. This news made fans really upset and they started circulating the news on the internet while asking for the reason behind it.

Notably, the company had also promised to deliver a number of updates to the Switch users by next week. These latest updates had Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Collectors Edition pre-order being delayed in the UK after the initial release of the pre-order in the USA.

This means that the goodies that were supposed to come along with the game had been split up. Basically, making the goodies available in stores after the game is already released. Although it might be a good thing for the fans as then they might get some idea on whether to buy the collector’s items or not. Due to high traffic in the USA during pre-orders, Nintendo had to close stores delaying it for the UK.

Nintendo titles to get delayed till 2023

A few games by Nintendo that were supposed to come out this year are pushed to 2023 now. Mostly because of production delays and the world conflicts that are going on. Games like Breath of the Wild 2, Advance Wars Reboot Camp 1+2, and Metroid Prime Remastered are expected this year. But there is no official update about the dates so far and thus are rumored to be released next year.

Surprisingly though, Nintendo recently uploaded a cryptic video of Kirby with a light bulb with the caption, “Kirby Got an Idea”, and fans think it is a teaser for the new Kirby Dream Buffet, which was also rumored to be expected soon.
