The trio hosted her for their latest episode with the title “Everyone Wants Pokimane’s Money.” It was a long one-hour podcast where the guest revealed some massive secrets and insights into her life. 

However, there was a certain bit that grabbed every fan’s attention, taking them back in time. So, if you’re wondering what we’re referring to, here it is. A few minutes into the podcast, Pokimane irked a long-lost wound, a fiery Twitch controversy.

The controversy dated back to January 2022, involving a famous Fortnite streamer, his wife, and another popular YouTuber. And while we know some of you might have already figured it out, there are some secrets that Poki finally revealed.

“BRB Framing It” – Pokimane’s Jaw-dropping Outfit Makes Fans Go Crazy

However, the streamer once fell prey to one of the biggest controversies involving Ninja, JiDion, and Jessica Blevins. It all started with the former LOL pro’s Twitch chat filled with ‘L+Ratio’ comments all of a sudden.

For those uninitiated, the concept traces back to Twitter, where people use it to mock or insult someone publicly. It also involves engagement rate, which states that the succeeding comment has more compared to the content. 

Looking at this, Poki felt a bit weird, as she had just returned after her DCMA ban. And post that, she was not interested in being part of a new controversy. However, she learned that it was JiDion, the famous Youtuber, and mastermind behind this (Twitch allows a streamer’s audience to shift from one to another- calling it a ‘twitch raid’).

As a result, Twitch banned JiDion for 14 days, as he broke the silence on Twitter. Plus, he even posted a video talking and apologizing to Poki, which almost hit a million views. 

Post that, Imane sensed the storm vanish but fell prey to another blow. It was Ninja who stepped in days later, acting as the fiery catalyst. Apparently, he promised JiDion to reduce the sentence live on stream, which was a big no-no for Poki. And then, the internet saw the rise of unnecessary controversy and felt something wasn’t right.

So, Pokimane voiced her opinion, which made Ninja’s wife step in and send her alarming messages on Twitter. This was another loop in the Twitch controversy, as Jessica claimed that Ninja never said those words.

However, a website storing all past clips from the internet confirmed Ninja saying the words as Poki even featured it in one of her streams. Alas! the controversy took its pit stop after JiDion’s apology video, but Ninja and his wife still remained in the lion’s den. 

Months later, Poki revealed this on multiple podcasts, talking freely about the controversy with the hosts. However, this time she made a shocking revelation that stunned all her fans. ” I think they were trying to just like, pressure me to not talk about it,” she said on the Banter podcast.
