REVEALED: Every Requirement For God Of War’s Eagerly Awaited PC Port

PC fans of the God of War game will soon have a blast when they dive into the world of the 2018 blockbusters later this week. The awaited port is almost here now and before its eventual launch, Santa Monica just shared an official update for God of War’s PC version. The studio revealed recommended system requirements for the port.

God of War has been one of the most iconic titles on the PlayStation console since its maiden release.

It will be extremely amazing to finally have it on PC as well, following a long wait.

God of War system requirements for a PC port

Speaking of the spec sheet, then players are in for some interesting options in terms of the hardware they possess. There are five ways one can enjoy God of War on PC upon its arrival this week.

To begin with, the lower level of graphics for God of War’s PC version requires at least an Intel i5-2500k or AMD Ryzen 3 1200. With that, you need either an NVIDIA GTX 960 or AMD R9 290X graphic card, alongside 8GB of RAM.

Furthermore, to get a higher performance, you will require either an Intel i5-6600k or the Intel i7-4770k. For AMD users, they should have a PC with either Ryzen 5 2400G or Ryzen 7 2700. In terms of graphics, they have to have the NVIDIA GTX 1060 or GTX 1070. In case you are having a card from AMD, it should be RX 570 or RX 5600XT.

If you are someone who wants to have the best possible experience in God of War, then you must have an Intel i7-7700k or Intel i9-9900k. As for AMD, a Ryzen 7 3700x or Ryzen 9 3950x is needed. In terms of the graphic card, players should have NVIDIA RTX 2070 or RTX 3080. For AMD users, they must have the RX 5700XT or RX 6800XT.

Talking about the storage, then 70GB of SSD is required for all kinds of graphic settings, with Windows 10 Home 64-bit, having the version 1809.

The PC port for God of War releases this Friday on January 14, 2022.
