There were new skins, and cosmetics brought through this collaboration. The most highlighted feature though was the Deku Smash. A similar ability to Midoriya from the anime. But, what the Fortnite community was not ready for was the huge glitch this unique ability had.
According to a video uploaded by GKI, there were 2 major problems with the glitch. The first was that when we see someone use the Deku Smash, they seem to get stuck mid-air. But the player who used the ability would be somewhere else in the game. The second one was when you use the Deku Smash and press the repeat last emote button at the same time, your character will break.
These glitches forced Epic Games to remove the ability for good. Now as the problems are fixed, Fortnite has brought back the ability into the game.
