With May 2023 being the release date, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is edging closer to its launch every day and it would be released none other than on the latest of the generation, the Nintendo Switch.
While Nintendo has already released a couple of trailers for the game, they have kept them vague enough to hide any story details from fans. While some consider these kinds of trailers a blessing in disguise, others see them as puzzles. They try to solve them by analyzing every single scene and finding as many details about the game as they can.

Zonai clan
Some theories say that the Zonai clan has migrated underground in tears of the kingdom. Some even state that those luminous objects in the caverns have something to do with Zonai’s disappearance!

And the other theory suggests that instead of going under, Zonai actually went to the skies. That’s why we see whole flying cities in this game’s trailers!
Brainwashed soldiers
In the trailers of this game, a number of murals can be seen. These murals show a bunch of monsters from Ganon’s force going against a number of soldiers. Only things that some of these soldiers are going the wrong way and seem to be facing their own kind.
There is a possibility that fans might see a brainwashed variant of friendly NPCs in this upcoming game!
Zonai and the dark ones
Avid fans of the Zelda series might be aware of the tribe called the dark one.
This tribe appears in Zelda games every now and then, with their most significant appearance being in Majora’s Mask. As these dark ones were not exclusively featured in Breath of the Wild, fans keep wondering if they would appear in the sequel.
So, the theory suggests that Zonai are the dark ones of these new games. Just like Interlopers, the Zonai have also been banished to some weird place where they cannot be found anymore!
A weird hidden enemy type
In one of the murals presented in the Tears of the Kingdom trailer, a bunch of enemies can be seen.
These enemies showcase the forces of Ganon. And they are on their way to attack humanity.
We see a log of familiar enemy types, but at the top of it, there’s a weird new enemy type that is partly visible. Maybe Nintendo is teasing some new bosses or mini-bosses?

The scripts are in English and Japanese!
