Starfield and Redfall delay comes as an unexpected move for the fans

It is pretty obvious that fans’ faces were gloomy right after they heard this news. Redfall and Starfield are two of the most anticipated games that were expected to release in 2022. However, developers often delay the games in order to create better enhancements for user experience.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, one of the best-reviewed and best-selling role-playing games of all time, inspired Bethesda’s core team to create Starfield. Another interesting fact is that last year, Microsoft completed the $7.5 billion acquisition of Bethesda in order to boost their Game Pass subscription service.

Exclusives such as Starfield would be on offer to Game Pass members at no additional cost on release day, a competitive advantage over PlayStation and Nintendo consoles, which do not provide new releases as part of subscriptions.

Xbox CEO Phil Spencer, however, never refutes from the fact whether the team might be up for feedback or not. He reiterates in the tweet, “While I fully support giving teams time to release these great games when they are ready, we hear the feedback. Delivering quality & consistency is expected, we will continue to work to better meet those expectations.

We hope that these two games would exceed the fan expectations given the ambitious and determined approach shown by the dev teams!

Fans voice their frustrations in response to Spencer

The fans, as obvious as it can be, were very much disappointed with this news. Here are some of the reactions which display their reactions quite accurately.
