Well, it just happened with Tom Cruise’s upcoming movie Top Gun: Maverick. Based on the awaited sequel, Xbox recently revealed a custom Series S console and controller, while offering a massive opportunity for the fans.

The succeeding installment is directed by Joseph Kosinski, who’s previously worked with Cruise in 2013’s Oblivion. Apart from the actor himself, Maverick also features an acclaimed cast including Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, and Jon Hamm. Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, Ed Harris, and Val Kilmer are also in key roles.

Unfortunately, this movie saw multiple delays in the past few years before eventually getting a date for May 2022. It’s finally coming in the last week of this month.

Now talking about the film’s fascinating crossover with Xbox, then the console’s official account recently dropped a big surprise for the gaming fans who are also fond of Top Gun. The Twitter page unveiled a custom Xbox Series S console and controller, based on the upcoming sequel. Not to mention that they’re both looking absolutely stunning to say the least.

The Limited Edition console features a cool design from Maverick’s pilot helmet. On the other hand, the controller resembles a control panel for a fighter jet. They are both part of a contest and interested players can participate in it at the moment. They have to simply follow and retweet the account to stand a chance to win this custom Xbox Series S setup. The giveaway contest ends on June 10th.

In addition to this contest, Xbox will also receive a Top Gun: Maverick DLC pack for Microsoft Flight Simulator. It will make its way for the game on movie’s release day itself, which is May 27th.
