Rory McIlroy had a great 2021 DP World Tour Championship. However, sadly, he just couldn’t see it through when it mattered the most on the final day. He was dominant in this tournament, right from the first day as he carded 65 and remained at the top with a score of -7. Furthermore, he was decent enough in the second and third rounds, but unfortunately, he couldn’t cross the finishing line.

The frustration was evident on his face after the 15th hole. Meanwhile, Collin Morikawa kept his cool and peaked at the right time to clinch the title with a score of -17. Moreover, this loss seems to have boiled Rory’s anger as was snapped in a shocking state in the scorer’s hut. So let us take a look at it.

Meanwhile, Rory, who was impressive throughout the week, just couldn’t get his game going on Sunday. He was struggling to find fairways on the front nine. But as he started finding fairways in the back nine, his approach game and putting suddenly became a debacle.

Hence, the man who was going so well and was all set to win the DP World Tour Championship finished the event with a score of -12 at T6 position.
