The newly rebranded F1 team, Alpine, are all set to lay their foundation in the sport and will be taking their first step this week. The French outfit will unveil the 2021 car, A521. And, of course, Alpine already unveiled the livery, but that turned out to be the interim livery to announce their entry into F1.

So, when will Alpine reveal their actual F1 car that will potentially wreak havoc over the 2021 season? Well, as already mentioned by the team, A521 will be reaching the public view on March 02, 2021, at 3:00 PM GMT.

The fans can catch a glimpse of the launch through Alpine’s social media handles, including Twitter. Apart from the unveiling, it is likely that the team will present the press conference through YouTube.

And this points out the next question. From where will the launch take place? It looks like Alpine are not opting for a grand event despite awakening a new era in F1.

Hence, the French outfit will bring the much-awaited A521 to light from their own headquarters, in Enstone, United Kingdom.

Who will be joining the launch?

Initially, the plans were that Esteban Ocon and Fernando Alonso would attend the launch in the UK. However, the Spaniard’s untimely road accident in Switzerland meant that he met with a massive time constraint.

Hence, in order to compensate for his lost time, Alpine decided against bringing the 2-time world champion for the launch. Instead, Alonso will be preparing for the crucial comeback season at his home, and will instead attend the missed press conference in Bahrain prior to the testing.

But his teammate, Ocon, will be available for the event. Along with the Frenchman, the newly recruited Alpine CEO, Laurent Rossi, and Ex-MotoGP project chief and current Alpine racing director, Davide Bravo, will be in line for the press conference.

What to expect from Alpine F1?

Renault were an essential part of the mid-field battle last season and gave a rather hard time to their rivals, McLaren and Racing Point. However, a poor end to the season saw the French manufacturers fall back on the table and ended up behind the two teams in P5.

But their threat could be much bigger this season, considering the wide array of changes the team have walked through.

The only other mid-field to witness such a makeover are their rival, Racing Point, who will be running with a different team and chassis name, Aston Martin. Hence, an interesting 2021 mid-field battle is on cards, and Alpine are very much in the three-way fight.

What’s more, with the addition of Alonso into the squad, the team are looking much deadlier. And Ocon almost caught up with his old form is more of the icing on the cake. Hence, amid such positives around the team, will Alpine turn up as the best of the rest F1 team? Let’s see what the future holds.
