The six-year relationship between Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel is nearing its end. The divorce wasn’t mutual as the Italian outfit chose to let go of the driver. However, ahead of the season finale in Abu Dhabi, he wants to look back on the positive times with the team.
The German driver is passionate about his racing helmets. Whether it’s sending a social message or something personally emotional to him, he likes to convey his feeling through his helmets. And quite fittingly, he is celebrating his time with the ‘Prancing horse’ through a helmet –

“Final race for Ferrari and final helmet, final Ferrari helmet… We have got the Italian flag and the German flag on top and the message ‘Grazie Regazzi’.” said Vettel. ‘Grazie Regazzi’ is a popular Italian phrase that means ‘Thank you, boys’. This is something that the fans familiarize with Vettel uttered the phrase on the team radio after his race wins.
“We have got the race wins here, and we have got the total amount of races for Ferrari. Wins, Podiums, and points.”
The German thinks that the shiny headpiece will make quite an impression under the lights of the Yas Marina Circuit, “I hope it is quite flashy under the sunset and during the night in the race here in Abu Dhabi. I hope you enjoy it.”
Ferrari’s tribute to Sebastian Vettel
The Maranello-based outfit does not wish to fall behind with tributes either. After all, the German did bag 14 race wins for them. And they are paying due respect to him on social media, too.

One last time together, thankfully. Watching Ferrari and Vettel has been a sorry experience for fans. Their marriage is coming to a bitter end. The Maranello-based outfit failed to offer the German a competitive car this season. And Seb only made it worse with his woeful driving form this season.
