“He is a Better Driver Than Bottas”- Lando Norris Predicts More Dominance From Lewis Hamilton

McLaren’s Lando Norris believes Lewis Hamilton is a better driver than Valtteri Bottas. The 20-year-old was speaking about Mercedes’ dominance this season when he compared both drivers.
Norris believes there’s nothing stopping Hamilton from winning every race this season unless he’s dealt a loss through no fault of his own.
As things stand, Mercedes has no competition in Formula 1. If the Championship fight were to proceed as it is, only Hamilton or Bottas can clinch the title this year.

With the other teams playing catchup, Hamilton’s only title rival in 2020 is the man who unsuccessfully tried to beat him to the crown last year.
Norris: Lewis Hamilton can win every race
Bottas has proved in the past that he can match the 6-time World Champion. There’s no denying that the Finn can go toe to toe with Hamilton and even come out on top.
However, Bottas hasn’t shown the same level of consistency as Hamilton over the course of a season.

“Do I expect Lewis to win every race? I see no reason why he would not be able to. Unless something happens or he breaks down,” Norris said, as quoted by PlanetF1.com.
“He is a better driver than Bottas and he has shown that over the past few years. On pure pace, if they both get off the line well, Lewis has an extremely high chance. He is pretty much racing only one other car on the grid, which is his team-mate.

“So if he doesn’t finish first, he is probably going to finish second.”
Despite starting the season strongly, Bottas’ title challenge has lost a fair bit of steam over the course of three races. Being ahead in the points against a driver like Hamilton is a major psychological advantage, one that Valtteri no longer has.
Momentum is a game-changer in Formula 1, and the Finnish driver must bounce back at Silverstone this week. The British Grand Prix has become a happy hunting ground for Hamilton, and Bottas denying him a victory could bolster the Finn’s morale.
