Charles Leclerc is the 2022 world championship leader and has showcased some phenomenal performances so far. Although the championship leader is phenomenal at his own sport, as it turns out, he might not be that great with a baseball.

The Ferrari driver is in the Magic City of Florida for the inaugural Miami Grand Prix. While there at the Magic City, Leclerc went to see the baseball match of the Miami Marlins. But, the Monegasque driver didn’t restrain himself to just watching the match but also tried some catching with baseball player Avisail Garcia.

Undoubtedly, it was fascinating for the fans to see the Ferrari driver playing catch. But it seems Leclerc isn’t that good at catching balls, as he misses a simple throw from Garcia. Further, the fans found something to react to ahead of the race weekend.

As soon as the video of the 24-year-old Ferrari driver missing an easy catch went viral, fans didn’t wait for a second to jump on the Twitter thread. The F1 fans were divided into two, one supporting Leclerc while the other making fun of him missing the catch.

The 2022 title fight between Leclerc and Verstappen will continue in Miami

The ongoing season is a fight between Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen. One is fighting to lift his maiden world championship while the other is fighting to defend his title. As for now, Leclerc is currently leading the 2022 drivers’ championship standing with ease.

Both Leclerc and Verstappen have enjoyed two race wins in the season so far. However, the Ferrari man has finished all his races and even bagged a P2. Meanwhile, the reigning champion faced two DNFs, so, he’s 27 points away from the 2022 championship leader Leclerc.

Undoubtedly, the upcoming Miami GP can bring new twists to the run for the championship. If the Red Bull driver manages to bag another win, then he can put another major dent in Leclerc’s lead. But Leclerc winning the Miami race will give him a chance to further extend his advantage over the rest.
